THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF BIBO CRYSTAL

Hygroscopic crystal materials deteriorate when they are not always retained in sufficiently dry air (or simply a dry purge gasoline). This is applicable e.g. to KDP and BBO, As well as in a lesser extent to LBO. It may be handy to help keep this type of crystal at a considerably elevated temperature, that makes it easier to continue to keep it dry.
